At the heart of R&C Healthcare Solutions are Roseanne Berry and Charlene Ross.

Roseanne and Charlene’s passion for hospice extends to the early 1990s when hospice in the United States still struggled to gain acceptance in the health care industry. Since then, Roseanne and Charlene have worked with industry professionals and organizations to help gain acceptance for hospice in health care, and ensure hospice care is available to all eligible patients who want hospice care.

In March, 2008, Roseanne and Charlene combined their passion for excellence in patient care, and their knowledge and expertise in the management of fiscal, operational and human resources, to form R&C Healthcare Solutions.

Now, as R&C Healthcare Solutions, Roseanne and Charlene are able to provide hospice consultation vital to the success of hospices of all sizes and organizational structures.

And by doing so, R&C Healthcare Solutions continues to support the growth and acceptance of hospice care so all eligible people who want hospice care can receive hospice care.

Roseanne Berry, MS, RN

From 1995 to 2008, Roseanne Berry co-founded and helped grow a small hospice organization in Phoenix, Arizona, into a national organization caring for patients and their families at over 50 sites in 14 states. During these 13 years, Roseanne served as the Chief Compliance Officer overseeing corporate compliance, quality improvement, regulatory surveys, employee safety, policies and procedures, licensure, Medicare and Medicaid certification and due diligence for operational areas during acquisitions.

Prior to 1995, Roseanne worked in leadership positions in hospice, home health and home infusion. Roseanne is active in the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) Regulatory Committee and participated in the NHPCO Quality Advisory Committee’s development of the Quality Partners Initiative.

Charlene Ross, MSN, MBA, RN

Over the past decade, Charlene Ross worked side-by-side with Roseanne, serving as the Vice President of Operations leading a region, and later Vice President of Patient Care Services, overseeing new program openings, leading operational and clinical improvements, Continuous Quality Improvement and its transition to QAPI, compliance, development of benchmark tools, policies and procedures and medical review processes.

In addition to hospice, Charlene has served as a Chief Nursing Officer for hospitals, an adjunct clinical instructor for the School of Nursing at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and on various nursing association boards.
